What is a Delivery Window?

If you are moving from New York to Florida looking for warmer weather, moving upstate for a job opportunity, or moving from the east coast to the west coast. You have to keep in mind the delivery window.
But, What is that? Well, a delivery window is how long your moving company takes to get from point A to point B.
For example, if you are moving from Florida to States like Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina or Virginia it usually takes up to 10 business days. This means that the delivery could arrive anytime during the date spread. The moving company usually gives you a 24-48 hours notice prior to delivery.
These are some reasons to keep in mind for a delivery window.
